We have a few Charities that as a club we love to support. All of these charities and causes have deep links to the club, and are important to all of us.

As a community club, we believe in supporting not only local charities, but international causes close to our hearts. Below are a few of our favourite charities that we aim to raise money for throughout the season.
OUR CHARITIES
YOUNG LIVES VS CANCER
Young Lives vs Cancer (Formerly CLIC Sargent), was founded in 2005 and is the UK's leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families. It aims to provide support from diagnosis, all the way through treatment, to life after treatment, and in some cases bereavement.
ADOPT A TIGER
At Maulden Netball Club, all of our teams are named after big cat breeds. However, many of these breeds are in danger of extinction. In fact there are more tigers captive the the United States, than wild tigers in the rest of the world. Adopting a Tiger through WWF can help fund their preservation work.
DEVELOPMENT FUND
Our Coaching Development Fund was created to enable us to send our existing coaches on courses to improve their coaching skills, as well with sending our successful young leaders on their Level One coaching course. Also for training players who wish to become an Umpire through the into officiating course.
GAMBIAN LEGACY FUND
The Gambian Legacy Fund is the clubs own initiative, founded in 2019 by Nicky Knight. Working closely with the Smile Project, we aim to provide girls in The Gambia with the opportunity to participate in sport. More information about our past and future projects can be found in The Gambia Blog Post
