We are thrilled to announce that we have won Club of the Year at the Beds County Awards!
We are very proud of this achievement and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our coaches and admins who devote so much time to the club. I’d also like to thank Kath and Grace in particular as they put so many organising hours in behind the scenes.
We are extremely pleased for Grace who won the Young Volunteer Award. She organises our umpires every week and spends lots of time organising our tournaments. She is very dedicated to the club and we are very pleased that she’s going to be back on a regular basis coaching next season.
This is the perfect time for us to emphasise that our adult coaches are volunteers. We are one of the few clubs who don’t pay our adult coaches. They coach because they want to and they enjoy being volunteers. Our club could not run without them or our team of admins.
