Last week, we held our 2024 ‘End of Season’ Youth Presentations. Our players have had a fantastic year in the Bedford & District Netball League, achieving over 80 wins and 1,862 goals. This is not including our very successful Versatility Tournament, Cup and Plate Rounds! We were delighted to receive feedback from umpires and other coaches about how impressed they were with our players attitudes and behaviour over the season. You are all a credit to the club and exemplify our values.
Team Achievements
All of our teams have had very successful seasons. As the season progressed, every team improved their scorelines, putting skills learnt in training into practice.

Jaguars - Division One Cup Winners.
Leopards - Overall winners of Division Three, and Division Three Cup Winners.
Lynx - Division Two Plate Runners Up.
Meerkats - Overall Division Four Runners Up, and Division Four Cup Runners Up.

We want to extend our thanks to MNC’s brilliant volunteers who give up their valuable time each week. We are forever grateful for their commitment to the club.
Thank you to our brilliant Team Managers: Jo, Kath, Nicola, Sophie, Suzanne, Suzi and Victoria. They have helped our coaches week in week out, no matter what the weather has had in store for us. They ensure sure everyone is in the right place at the right time, complete paperwork and report match scores, allowing our coaches to focus on the matches.
Thank you to our admins: Sophie, Kath and Fran who do so much behind thes cenes for the club. Together they manage all communication, Heja updates, registration and affiliation.
A final thank you to our amazing coaches: Anna, Anne, Caitlyn, Clare, Danine, Gwyn, Karen and Nicky. Without them our teams would not be able to play, let alone achieve what they have this season.
We want to express our thanks to Gwyn, who despite no longer having a daughter at the club still continues to coach week-in week-out. Also to Karen, who is leaving the club after 10 years. Karen has done so much for the club throughout her time with us, including joining us on our trip to the Gambia, Safeguarding Lead for several years, and coaching numerous teams including those of her two talented daughters Grace and Ruby.
Lastly, we are wishing all of our players the best of luck for next season, whether they are continuing in our Youth Section, progressing to our Adult Section, or focusing on their development squads. You will always be a part of our MNC Family.
